Our Story • Born in Hampshire

From village pub.
To locals across Britain.

We began at a village pub, where British pub culture met our passion for Indian food.

A characterful British village pub

Where it started

Our Story

“It started with a simple idea — could great Indian food feel at home in a British village pub?”

The Empire Kitchen began at a Hampshire village pub, in August 2024. We introduced our British-Indian dishes alongside the pub’s existing food offering and served them to real local customers.

Their response helped us refine the dishes, understand what works in a busy pub environment and build a food range people would come back for. What started in one pub became the foundation for something bigger.

Empire Today

From one pub to a growing network of local venues.

The Empire Kitchen we are building today. We believe great British-Indian food doesn’t need another restaurant on every high street. It can be served through the pubs, inns and local venues that communities already know and love.

That’s why we partner with existing venues. We supply our proven food range, support the brand and help customers discover where The Empire Kitchen is being served.

The venue keeps its identity.

We bring the food of two kingdom at one table.
